How protected am I with a gift card?

Buyers are protected under the consumer rights act of 2015, and the gift card is protected with the retailer. If the retailer goes out of business then it is up to them to discuss with you what happens with your gift card - we are not responsible for honouring the price of a gift card after the business has closed.
